A local-service platform built as a lead engine

A website is not a brochure. It is distribution infrastructure.

A custom local-growth platform for a South Jersey Shore service company: service architecture, city-level search pages, mobile-first inquiry routes, qualification and attribution, built and measured as one owned asset.

Context

Orbit Services competes in a market where most operators are indistinguishable online: a template site, a phone number, and no structure behind either. The company was winning on service and losing on first impression — every inquiry had to be earned twice.

Challenge

One generic page was being asked to speak to several services across several towns, on a phone, to a buyer who was mid-task and skeptical. There was no structure for search to reach, no qualification before the first call, and no evidence of which channel produced the work.

A website is not a brochure. It is distribution infrastructure — and the structure has to be decided before the design, because structure is what search and buyers actually navigate.

  1. Positioning

What Orbit claims, and the service record behind the claim.

  2. Search architecture

Services mapped against real local demand, then city-level pages so each market has its own entry point.

  3. Service pages

One job per page, written to be read at speed rather than admired.

  4. Inquiry paths

Call, text and quote routes placed within thumb reach on every screen.

  5. Qualification

Job type, location and timing captured before the first conversation.

  6. Attribution

Channel and form-level reporting from launch, so the next spend decision has evidence behind it.

Interface and content

Typography, imagery direction and copy were produced against Orbit's actual services and photography — one job per page, in the order a buyer asks about it.

Mobile inquiry

Most local inquiries arrive on a phone, mid-task.

Call, text and quote routes sit within thumb reach on every screen, and the quote flow captures job type, location and timing before the first conversation — so the team quotes instead of interviews.

Qualification & attribution

Inquiry data and channel reporting were wired in at launch. The purpose is evidence for the next decision, not a scoreboard.

Three booked jobs from the first seven Google Ads clicks after the new site launched. This is a small early sample, not a long-term benchmark or guarantee.
